What’s the Difference?
Not quite sure what cool and refreshing snack your customers are craving? Some people find themselves overwhelmed with the selection of frozen snacks nowadays. Here is a brief explanation of the differences between all the frozen desserts out there.

Ice cream (hard-pack)– Custard base containing milk, cream, sugar, and egg yolks.
Milkfat: Over 10% (UPWARDS OF 16% IN PREMIUM): usually fresh sweet cream.
Milk solids: 9-12% usually skim milk.
Air: Upwards of 50% (comes from the churning process).
Stored at 18º F to 19º F served frozen.
